The Lady Flames will seek to refine and elevate their program for the Jan. 25 Eastern Sectional competition in Hershey, Pa.

Liberty University's synchronized skating team showcased a more difficult program at the Boston Synchronized Skating Classic on Nov. 23rd and landed in third place out of seven teams in the Open Collegiate division.
The Lady Flames received a first-place score from one of the seven judges, but landed behind the University of Vermont, which had the other six, and runner-up Syracuse University. They finished in front of the University of Maryland, Princeton University, and the University of New Hampshire, as well as the Mirror Images team composed of alumni of various collegiate programs.

Previously, Liberty finished first against a smaller field of competition at the season-opening Stars and Stripes Invitational on Nov. 2 in Woodbridge, Va.
The Boston Classic was the last collegiate skate for Lady Flames senior Isabelle Thompson, a third-year team member graduating this month with her B.S. in Public Health.
On Jan. 25, the team will kick off the spring semester by competing against many of the same teams at the 2025 Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships in Hershey, Pa. Last year in New Hampshire, the Lady Flames placed second out of seven teams in their division at that event, and they will raise the bar once more with the program's technical and stylistic elements.
"The team is looking to build the program to make it more difficult and stronger to be able to put out an even better performance," Liberty third-year Head Coach Hannah Pulley said.
The team is considering adding one final competition to the spring semester schedule before participating as a team and individuals in the annual PraiseFest at the LaHaye Ice Center in April.
