Liberty will look to extend its 10-game winning streak against the Saints, who have risen up the ranks of both the WMCH and ACHA.

Fresh off a regular-season-opening series split at defending national champion Adrian (Mich.) College, Liberty University's ACHA Division I women's hockey team, ranked No. 3 in this week's national poll, will host No. 1 Maryville (Mo.) University in this weekend's series at the LaHaye Ice Center.
The series between Women's Midwest College Hockey (WMCH) rivals will open with the first-ever women's Midnight Mayhem contest, with the Lady Flames (1-1) and Saints (9-3) facing off Friday at 11:59 p.m. Tickets are selling for $4 on the Liberty website. The Lady Flames will auction off special Midnight Mayhem jerseys online to be sold to the highest bidder after the game.
Liberty is 10-0 all-time against the Saints, starting with a WMCH championship win in St. Louis in February 2022 and ACHA Division I national quarterfinal triumph that March. Their most recent meeting was in the WMCH semifinals at the LIC last February.
The Lady Flames have outscored the Saints by a 45-6 margin in the series.
Maryville has split series this season with No. 2 McKendree (Ill.) University, No. 4 Adrian, and No. 8 Miami (Ohio) this past weekend in Chesterfield, Mo.
The Lady Flames, who won an ACHA record five consecutive national championships before being dethroned in the semifinals last March near St. Louis, feature 10 freshmen and transfers who have been tested early by six exhibition games before last weekend.
Both this weekend's games will be streamed live by the student-led Liberty Broadcast Experience (LBX) production team.
