George Bahrs played soccer since he was four years old; however, when he began playing lacrosse in middle school, he totally fell in love with the sport and has spent the past six years learning as much as he can about the game. Before coming to Liberty, George played on his high school lacrosse team for four years. As a freshman on the JV team he played mid-field/attack and started close defense as a sophomore. As a junior and senior, George was a Captain of his Varsity lacrosse team and started close defense/LSM. Throughout his high school years, George also played with other teams and participated in various camps, showcases and tournaments such as: Alexandria Travel & Fierce Nation Lacrosse Team; East Coast Lacrosse Recruiting Showcase, MADLAX, Inc. Capital; Patriot Games Tournament, LAX Fellowship Team; Fellowship of Christian Athletes; Eagle Lacrosse Summer Camp, College of William & Mary; Liberty University Men's Lacrosse Summer Camp; University of Maryland Men's Lacrosse Summer Camp; Indoor Winter Lacrosse League, TripleEdge Lacrosse; Southwest Lacrosse Individual Showcase; Virginia Elite Lacrosse/West Springfield High School team; and Alexandria Lacrosse League. George is a freshman at Liberty majoring in Computer Science. Fun Fact: Growing up George, he also fenced and did martial arts.
