Annalise developed a love of horses at a young age as a missionary kid in Colombia, South America at a friend's farm. Upon returning to North Carolina, she started riding at the age of 5 at a local farm in Concord, NC where she competed for a short time with 4H. In 2004, Annalise began competing in eventing with Rocky River and Low Country Pony clubs, where she completed up through her C1 Ratings. In 2013 she began training hunt seat with Kirk Kamish in Wingate, NC before attending Liberty University. Annalise also has experience in polo cross and vaulting and has also had the opportunity to volunteer at a therapeutic horseback riding center for many years.
