With Amanda Storey graduating in May, Liberty found a three-sport athlete from Ontario to complement to Alex Keith for the 2024-25 season.
"Brooklyn is a technical and talented goalie, and I am excited to see her in a Flames jersey next fall," Liberty Head Coach Chris Lowes said, noting that he had been recruiting her since her junior season and she visited Liberty this past fall semester. "Brooklyn is athletic, coachable, and fundamentally sound as a goalie. Just as importantly, we think she will be a great teammate and student and be a great fit in our locker room. I am excited to welcome Brooklyn and watch her thrive and grow in all areas during her time here at Liberty."

"What truly set Liberty apart for me was the exceptional hockey program, great coaching staff, and a group of highly skilled and dedicated players," she said.
Lowes expects Adams to challenge for time in net as a freshman next season.
"With Amanda (Storey) graduating this year, I anticipate a healthy goalie competition come the fall semester," Lowes said, noting that sophomore Alex Keith will also be in contention for Storey's starting job. "I think Brooklyn will embrace the new challenge and I am excited for her and our team."
Adams is an exceptional three-sport athlete who was nominated for athlete of the year at her high school the past two years. She is a three-time Provincial gold medalist as a midfielder on the school's lacrosse team and earned team MVP honors this past season. She also plays on its varsity field hockey team and helped her hockey team capture a bronze medal at the Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA) Provincial tournament last season. She posted a 30-7-5 record that year with a 1.17 goals-against average, a 94.0 save percentage, and 15 shutouts in goal.
So far this season, she has been even more impressive between the pipes, leading the Lightning with a 15-3 record, a 0.72 goals-against average, 95.3 save percentage, and 10 shutouts.
Adams believes she can make a positive impact on the Lady Flames' program upon arrival next semester.
"I'm a strong goalie that has quick decision-making abilities on the ice and thrives on the challenge of making crucial saves," she said. "I'll bring my dedication for improvement, humor, and a positive team attitude. I am excited for the road trips and creating memories with my teammates."Â
