The LaHaye Rock Wall, located inside the LaHaye Recreation & Fitness Center, is a premier indoor climbing facility and the home of the Liberty Rock Climbing Team. Spanning over 4,000 square feet, the facility offers a range of climbing experiences for all skill levels, including bouldering, top-rope, and lead climbing.
The climbing tower stands 40 feet tall and features two auto belays, four top rope stations, and opportunities for lead climbing on vertical faces and through an archway. Routes are regularly updated and designed to challenge and support climbers from beginner to advanced levels.
The bouldering area offers over 3,000 square feet of climbing surface, with wall angles ranging from slab to steep overhangs. Boulder problems are set to accommodate a wide range of abilities, providing an accessible and engaging experience for everyone.
For climbers looking to train more specifically, the facility also features a Grasshopper Board, an adjustable training wall that can be set between 20 and 50 degrees. With smartphone connectivity, climbers can choose from thousands of pre-set problems or design their own, making it a valuable tool for skill development and progression.
