Sarah oversees the academic advancement program within Liberty Club Sports. In her role, she assists with student-athlete communication to professors in the case of injuries, sending reports to coaches disclosing any red-flag academic issues that need to be addressed and collecting data for end-of-year reporting and department policy revision.
Since starting in 2015, Sarah has seen the academic advancement program expand from one staff member to a team of nine, in addition to many supporting systems for student-athletes such as study hall, mentoring, tutoring, yearly orientation, early registration, assistance in scheduling classes, academic integration, and monitoring eligibility
In her role, Sarah has helped improve the average Club Sports GPA from 2.78 to 3.34 (recorded in Spring, 2020) and seen an increase in the amount of Club Sport student-athletes, receiving a 3.5 GPA or higher, on the Dean’s list each semester.
Prior to this position, Sarah held several other positions around Club Sports:

- Assistant Director of Academics (2017-2018)
