Lori Matthews has owned a successful show horse training facility in New Jersey; trained and exercised thoroughbred races horses at the Triple Crown/Breeders Cup level; developed talented Equitation and Hunter competitors for zone competition finals (A circuit); coached at shows including Sussex County, Pennsylvania National, and Devon; was active in research of exercise induced pulmonary hemorrhage in the racehorse and interval training; and has vast experience in equine rehabilitation and lay-up. Additionally, she has developed a powerful joint supplement, InMotion, for use in horses and dogs.
She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University in 2009, and has experience in the classroom teaching High School Biology and Chemistry. She currently resides on a farm in Appomattox County with her husband Dave and son DC who is a tenth grade student at Liberty Christian Academy
.Lori believes that a successful horse trainer/riding instructor should focus on training both horse and rider to work together as a unit and develop young individuals as horseman. A true horseman is one who cultivates self-discipline, cooperation, patience and perseverance toward a goal as emphasized by the words of the horseman Xenophon in 400 B.C.
