Jessica’s role as a Academic Mentoring Specialist is to advise and advocate for student-athletes. Prior to her current role, she was a Professional Advisor for Club Sports athletes via the College of Applied Studies and Academic Success (CASAS) office. In 2023 she was named the Head Coach for the Beach Volleyball team, which she supported as an Assistant Coach since 2008.
Jessica came to Liberty in 2004, playing Outside Hitter for Liberty Women’s Volleyball from 2004-08. She led the team in kills and aces during sophomore season, and was named William & Mary Invitational MVP in 2005. 2007 Honors: Villanova Classic All-Tournament, Big South Championship All-Tournament, Big South All-Academic team, team leader in kills and digs. Five time Big South Presidential Honor Roll, two NCAA tournament appearances in 2007 and 2008 seasons. Jessica also played Liberty Women’s Basketball during the 2008-09 season.
