McIlhenny started his career with the Flames as a wrestler, competing for the team for 4 years. McIlhenny served as a captain of the team for 2 years and helped lead the team to 2 National Dual titles and 2 Grand National titles. He achieved All-American honors twice his junior and senior year. McIlhenny graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sport Management. This past season, McIlhenny contributed to the team capturing another National Duals and Grand National title for the men’s team. He also served as an assistant coach to the women’s team who made their first National Duals finals appearance and placed 4th at the Grand National tournament. He looks forward to training Champions for Christ in each season he is a part of.
