Jessie has been coaching competitive gymnastics for since 2015, both as a USAG coach and with Liberty Gymnastics. She served as the Liberty Assistant Coach from 2017 to 2020 before taking over as Head Coach in the fall of 2022. As an athlete, she was a two time regional qualifier in Washington State in high school, as well as a YMCA National All Around champion her senior year. At Liberty, she spent 4 years as an athlete on the team, serving as a co-captain, and helping lead the Flames to their first ever NAIGC National Level 9 team final in 2017.

She accredits the Liberty Gymnastics team as one of the most transformative experiences for her in her early adult life, which fuels her desire to provide an even better experience for the athletes who come through the program next. She loves seeing athletes fall in love with sport, enjoy the process of training, and be able to perform at a high level while also developing the connection between their athletic endeavors and their spiritual walk in Christ.

A native of Puyallup, WA, she now calls Lynchburg home with her husband Clint, a Liberty alumni who serves as the Liberty Men’s D1 Golf Assistant Coach, and their dog Stanley.
