Started competing in triathlons senior year of high school in Harare, Zimbabwe and competing for Zimbabwe's national team during the years from 2010-2011. In 2011, Joseph became the 2011 Zimbabwean national triathlon champion. Joseph was recruited to Liberty University to be on their triathlon team and went undefeated in the 2012 mid-Atlantic triathlon conference. After a successful triathlon year, Joseph became a professional triathlete and has competed for team USA nationally and internationally as well.
