Jordan Kemp is the newest addition to the coaching staff for the Men’s and Women’s Racquetball team serving as an Assistant Coach. His specific duties include: recruitment of new players, assisting in practices and tournaments, teaching beginner to advanced level techniques and strategy to all new and returning players. Jordan’s affinity for the backhand shot makes him a unique asset to the coaching staff. Jordan was one of the first members of the initial racquetball team from the launch of the program in 2011, and has been involved with the team ever since. Jordan has 7 years of experience playing racquetball, most of those years involved with intercollegiate competition and well as competing in local tournaments. He has a level 1 AmPro/IPRO certified instructor certificate. His favorite shot is the Backhand Boast.
Kemp attended and graduated from Liberty University in May 2012 receiving a B.S. in International Business. During the summer of 2011, he participated in a business internship to China gaining insight in foreign economics and international trade. Kemp is currently finishing his M.Div. in Church History and will complete his degree in May 2017.
Kemp works as a Graduate Tutor for the Center for Writing and Languages at Liberty University with experience in several different writing styles as well as a freelance editor. He lives in Lynchburg, Virginia with his wife Jess Kemp and enjoys spending time with friends, playing racquetball, watching movies and English football, and working on new book ideas.
