Christian was named head coach of the Men's Division II Hockey team in Spring 2025 after serving as an assistant coach from 2018 to 2025. As a former collegiate player himself, he competed as a center on the Division I team from 2011–2015 and later helped lead the Division II team to a national runner-up finish in the 2015–2016 season.
Originally from New Brunswick, Canada, Christian began his career in the Club Sports department as a graduate assistant for operations and now serves as the Assistant Director of Development and Club Sports Alumni.
He is committed to Liberty’s mission of “Training Champions for Christ” and brings both competitive experience and spiritual leadership to the program. Christian lives in the Lynchburg area with his wife, Monika, and their daughter, Cora.
