Spokane, Washington is where Courtney was born, raised, and started skating. She has been skating for 17 years with 14 years of competitive experience. Courtney is a USFSA double gold medalist in Moves in the Field and Freeskate, 5 time Northwest Pacific Regional Figure Skating Championships medalist, 5 time Pacific Coast Sectional Figure Skating Championships competitor.
Courtney’s coaching experience includes being a Learn to Skate instructor for 7 years and coached private lessons for 2 years at local skating clubs around Spokane, Washington.
Then, she had the opportunity to skate professionally for 2 years with Feld Entertainment’s Disney on Ice traveling nationally and internationally from 2018-2020.
During the two seasons she skated for Liberty Figure Skating, she competed twice at the senior level for the National Intercollegiate Final competition the team qualified for in 2022 and 2023.
Graduated from Liberty’s School of Aeronautics in May of 2023 with Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics Commercial/ Corporate concentration. She also works as a flight instructor for Liberty’s School of Aeronautics.
Courtney’s goal for the team is that Liberty Figure Skating will be well known and respected for its team culture and the ability to compete against the nation’s best collegiate figure skating teams. This will be possible by growing each year, having high quality coaching and mentorship, and embracing the team vision statement: Integrity, Responsibility, and Humility.
