Keepers of the Flame: Men's racquetball player Eric Piering

On this week's segment of "Keepers of the Flame," Eric Piering, a senior on Liberty University's men's racquetball team, shares his favorite Scripture verse, Proverbs 27:1: "Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring."

Piering, coming off a Division 3 blue bracket singles championship at last weekend's USA Racquetball Intercollegiate National Championships in Tempe, Ariz., explains how he approaches each match he plays with humility, knowing it might be his last in any given tournament.

"You've always got to go out there playing your best and not just boasting about the next game, saying you're going to win when you could lose pretty easily," Piering said.
