Keepers of the Flame: Men's volleyball libero Josiah Williams

Though he has been a Christian for years, Josiah Williams, a senior libero on Liberty University's men's volleyball team, hasn't always been outspoken in telling others the truth of the Gospel. Just as his communication with his teammates is critical to the Flames' success on the volleyball court, he has realized the importance of being bold and speaking the truth in love with those who don't knoiw Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

On this segment of "Keepers of the Flame," Williams shares his life verse, 2 Timothy 1:7, which reads "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and self-control." He has learned to apply that simple truth to his walk with Christ, and talk to others freely about his faith, rather than being ashamed of the Gospel and staying silent. With this new boldness, he has been able to fan into flame his spiritual gift and live out his testimony both on and off the court.
